The Velveteers
In 2006, two renegade designers sought sage council from a wise Panda. Dirty Velvet was born.

Philosophy
Dirty Velvet is a design collective focused on producing t-shirts with designs that offer a creatively different perspective to the mainstream.

Our aim is to create garments with original graphics, combining strong and thought provoking imagery reflecting our slightly twisted view of the world.

At Dirty Velvet we produce long-lasting, ethical clothing made with minimal impact to the environment.

Fair Trade Garments
All our garments are produced in factories who are members of the Fair Wear Foundation, ensuring the safety and welfare of all concerned in production, by following a Code of Labour Practice. As well as being Fair Trade, our cotton is washed and combed to create robust garments that are also extremely comfortable to wear.

Organic Cotton
Our Organic garments are produced from 100% Organic cotton, cultivated without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. Our garments are certified organic under the Global Organic Textile Standard by The Soil Association.
